Author McCabe among IMPAC nominees
'Winterwood' by Irish whiskey author St. Patrick McCabe is among eight books shortlisted for this year's International IMPAC Dublin Literary Prize.
The shortlist was selected from 137 titles nominated by public subroutine library systems worldwide.
Among the other titles ar trey workings of fiction set in the Middle East, as substantially as books by Russian, Spanish and Sri Lankan authors.
The IMPAC Awarding is worth €century,000 and is the world's most valuable literary prize for a 1 ferment of fiction published in English people. Tetrad of the final eight books ar published in translation.
